Job Description
We are looking for a Flex Machine Operators, skilled technician responsible for operating and maintaining flexographic printing machines used in the production of flexible packaging materials. This role requires technical expertise, attention to detail, and a strong understanding of printing processes. The Flex Machine Operator reports to the Production Supervisor or Printing Manager and collaborates closely with the printing and production teams.

Role & Responsibilities

Review work orders and job specifications to understand printing requirements and materials.

Setup and prepare the flexographic printing machine by selecting appropriate plates, inks, and other materials.

Monitor machine operation and make real-time adjustments to ensure consistent print quality and registration.

Mix and prepare inks according to color specifications and job requirements.

Monitor ink levels and viscosity throughout the printing process to maintain color consistency.

Conduct regular visual inspections of printed materials to verify color accuracy, print clarity, and overall quality.

Troubleshoot and resolve minor machine malfunctions and printing-related issues.

Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment.

Maintain accurate records of production runs, materials used, machine settings, and any maintenance performed.

Optimize machine settings, print parameters, and registration to maximize production efficiency.
